MUST READ – Main Gate & Road Closure This Week

Monday, July 20th - Main Gate & Road Closures

The main entrance at Via Linda will be closed on Monday, July 20th, from 7:00 am until midnight.

Most of the community, including vendors, contractors, delivery services will utilize the west gate. For navigation purposes the west gate’s physical address is 12940 N. 114th Street.

All three gates will be staffed by in-person security personnel to assist in directions and specific street closure information. All green roads will be closed. Refer to the map and inks below.

SEAL COATING MONDAY, 7/20

GREEN section: 07/20
Main Gate: From Gate to 114th Way
Via Linda: No. 11806
120th Pl: No. 12544-12773
Larkspur Dr: No. 12030-12035
Wethersfield Dr: No. 12083-12227
118th St: No. 11771

This closure is, of course, dependent upon weather - specifically wind and rain. If weather becomes an issue a notice will go out before 7:00 am.

The protocol remains the same as it relates to moving your car to the nearest unaffected street if you reside on a green street. Overnight street parking is acceptable.

SPECIAL ACCESS

If you live on the following street addresses the east gate will be your only means of access during the work on July 20th:

  • 119th St. for street numbers 11607 to 12475
  • 120th St. for street numbers 11501 to 12454
  • Columbine Drive for street numbers 12020 to 12377
  • Wethersfield Drive for Street numbers 12029 to 12227
  • 120th Place for street numbers 12311 to 12458
  • Charter Oak Circle for street numbers 11876 to 11893

RECYCLE MONDAY JULY 20TH

We are working closely with the City of Scottsdale regarding recycle and trash pickup on the

affected days of the resealing project. The city is scheduled to start earlier than normal on July

20th and complete the pickup on the affected streets PRIOR to the start of resealing for the day.

Due to the earlier start time, it is VERY IMPORTANT to roll out your can the night before.

Tuesday, July 21st - Road Closures

SEAL COATING TUESDAY 7/21

PINK section: 07/21
Dreyfus: No. 11340-11556
116th St: No. 13027-13051
118th Way: No. 12237-12363
119th St: No. 12112-12391
114th Way : No. 11921-12142
Wethersfield Rd: No. 11470

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO: If you intend to drive on the day of your repair, move your car to nearest unaffected street. There will be no fines imposed for overnight street parking. There will be substantial reimbursement costs if you drive over the repaired road during that 24 hour period. Study the map closely, there will be days where you will have to take alternate routes within the community and use alternate gates. There may be some days when the only open alternate route will take you well out of your normal route. Allow for the extra time and please extend patience and courtesy to all involved. If you have vendors scheduled on your road closure day, inform them well in advance they will not have access to your home on that day.

WEATHER: There is a possibility some dates may be changed due to rain or wind. The sealant cannot be applied in the rain or on windy days.

REMINDER: The day before your street sealing there will be signs, cones and barricades reminding you of the next day closing and giving you an opportunity to move your car outside the closure.

VERY IMPORTANT!

DO NOT MOVE OR REMOVE TRAFFIC CONES DURING ROAD CLOSURES

Please do not call the front gate for additional information. All on duty personnel will be extremely busy with traffic control. Refer to the linked maps or email infrastructure@ancalahoa.org.

Thank You for your cooperation and patience with this project.

On the above days, the city is scheduled to start earlier than normal and complete the pickup on the affected streets PRIOR to the start of resealing for the day. Due to the earlier start time, it is VERY IMPORTANT to roll out your can the night before.

The city is making every effort to accommodate us, and while we expect this plan to operate smoothly, there is always a possibility that a small number of homes may have an issue.

Seal Coating Updates for Ancala

A Message From Tim Young, Infrastructure Chair

WHAT: Ancala will be performing road maintenance on EVERY street within the community in the month of July.  This is not an invasive road replacement, but a maintenance procedure commonly called resealing. No street will be closed for more than 24 hours.  During that 24 hour period there will be absolutely no travel of any kind on the freshly sealed road.

Ancala Road Work – Phase 1

A Message From Tim Young, Infrastructure Chair

Phase 1 of road repair will take place Monday, June 1 thru Friday June 5.

Phase 1 consists of filling cracks throughout the entire community.

NO ROADS WILL BE CLOSED FOR THIS PHASE

We do ask that you slow down for the workers and be a little more patient in yielding to other traffic. Also, you may be asked to assist in having your vendors move their trucks 10 or 20 feet, if needed, to access cracks in front of your house.

Phase two, resealing the roads, will take place in July.

A much more detailed email will be sent for that phase. Please read every email sent, they will all be very important and critical to making your travel as unobtrusive as possible.

Thank You for your cooperation.
